The Wine: Deunidó
"Deunido" is a young, totally natural and small-production red wine (2500 bottles). Short maceration for 1 week in stainless steel and aging for 5 months in stainless steel tanks. Bottled without filtering and without added sulfites. It is a clean and intense red, very marked by juicy black fruit, spicy notes and earthy touches. Warm and sweet on the palate, pleasant and smooth throughout.

Christian Barbier Meyer has had the best training and learning in the wine sector that one could wish for, the youngest of one of the most recognized families of wine producers in Priorat, the Barbier family, his father, considered almost as a legend in the Priorat, René Barbier de Clos Mogador and their brothers, all of them make their own wines in the region, each with its own personality. For Christian, making his own wine has been something very natural, he has grown up surrounded by nature, raised in this land of llicorella, an exceptional place due to the great richness and diversity of its plants and animal species, hence his great passion and respect for his environment, and this is clearly reflected when making their wine, practicing sustainable and balanced agriculture. Impressive first vintage by Christian Barbier, "Deunido" is his personal project, which begins in 2019 on a mountain farm in the middle of the forest in the small town of La Figuera (Do Montsant), Finca "La Coma", a small farm of 2 hectares planted with 40-year-old Garnacha Negra vines, on white clay soils at about 600 meters of altitude.
The Region: Montsant
This Denomination of Origin includes several municipalities in the Priorat and Ribera d'Ebre regions, in the southwest of Catalonia. Broadly speaking, the vineyards in the central area of the Priorat region belong to the Denominació d'Origen of the same name, while the rest belong to the Denominació d'Origen Montsant. However, in municipalities such as Falset or El Molar there are wineries of both denominations. The Denominació d'Origen Montsant was born in 2001 with the intention of bringing together the distinctive features of a series of wineries that already constituted a sub-area of the Denominació d'Origen Tarragona. It is, therefore, a denomination of young origin that includes more than fifty wineries.

One Important premise: Wine bottles are heavy (about 1.4 kg each) and shipping is expensive. At Bebedistinto we pride ourselves on being an independent online store, and therefore we must charge shipping on most orders, otherwise we would not be in business. However, we do our best to offer very competitive shipping rates.
Information about shipments
Shipments take between 24-72h (working days) to reach the destination in peninsular shipments. Consultation through the firstname.lastname@example.org if it is an urgent shipment or you need it for a specific date.
In shipments to the Balearic Islands and other countries, the order may take a few more days to be shipped.
These times are estimates. We try to manage the orders as quickly as possible, but we are not responsible if once the shipments are processed in Correos or Correos Express they suffer delays.
In case of weekends, holidays or force majeure, the Orders will be attempted as soon as possible, but we do not promise to meet these delivery dates.
