The producer: Risky Grapes Wine

Risky Grapes Wine Co. was born as a new project, with a clear vision of the evolution of new wine habits among young and old people, their search for new gastronomic experiences, new flavors and new references, without giving up the quality, but adjusted to its economy. With these premises we launched an interesting line of wines, something new to the palate, with Mediterranean freshness and flavor but with the traditional quality of the best wine culture: maximum respect for the environment and a philosophy of control of the vineyards and processes reflected in all our products. Behind each bottle there is not just one oenological bet. Behind each new wine there is its own land and vineyard, an exhaustive monitoring of the grape processes and the procedures for making the broths. That is why every detail and every step along the way has been calculated with great precision. From the choice of the farms and the varieties that are grown on them, and the care of the soil using plant covers and natural methods, to the struggle to recover native varieties such as Bobal and Merseguera, with the desire to maintain a fund of sincere expression of the soil and climate of the estates in the new wines.

The Region: Valencia

Family vineyards located in the area of Requena, in the interior of the province of Valencia. At an altitude of 840m above sea level. Sandy and poor soil. Sustainable viticulture. Organic wine, suitable for vegans. It is located at a height of 840 m at the foot of two very marked mountain slopes in the Requena region, the Pico del Tejo and the beginning of the Sierra del Negrete. It is a Mediterranean mountain, in a landscape of terraces and gentle hills, distinguished by the great character and the strong reddish color of its limestone soils.

Rates and shipping options

At Bebedistinto we like to be transparent in everything we do. When it comes to buying products online, shipping is the most important aspect, which is why we take great care in shipping and handling orders using only 100% recycled packaging material.

An important premise: wine bottles are heavy (about 1.4 kg each) and shipping is expensive. At Bebedistinto we are proud to be an independent online store, and therefore we must charge shipping on most orders, otherwise we would not be in business. However, we do our best to offer very competitive shipping rates.

What is natural wine

Natural winemaking has become a movement akin to a revolution, a nemesis of the industrialization and homogenization of wine in the last three decades. Natural winemakers are at the forefront of this movement, rejecting industrial winemaking techniques and the excessive use of pesticides, fungicides, herbicides or fertilizers in the vineyard. Perhaps even more importantly, natural wine should be seen as an agricultural product where agriculture is an essential part. Agricultural conditions, labor rights, sustainability and ethical practices throughout the supply chain are now at the center of the natural wine discourse.

Why should you try natural wine?

Natural wine is probably the most fascinating wine on the market. Discovering natural wines is made even more exciting by the fact that each vintage is different and has a different flavor. The non-interventionist winemaking approach, together with the best organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyards, give wines of unique character.
